UGA and I are in a committed
relationship. It was love at first
sight- the campus, the atmosphere, the opportunities all drew me closer to the
Classic City. You see Nebo, In 2011 I sent in my love
letter disguised as an application and said that I did not want anyone else- and
I could not be happier. The University of Georgia is my home. I could not possibly encompass my love for UGA
into a few short words but here I am not just represented by the Bulldog
mascot, I am a Bulldog at heart. Here, I
have endless opportunities to not only sharpen my ever-growing professional
skillset, but also to grow personally.
Here I am at home.
I originally had no idea that I was
destined for the Public Relations field.
When I applied to Grady in 2012, I thought I was on track to be a music
producer…but Grady knows best. When I
was accepted as a PR major I was shocked and more excited than ever about my
future. I love that PR has endless
possibilities. Want to work with
companies on the other side of the world? Want to work closely with the White
House? Want to advise celebrities or
Fortune 500 companies? Through PR, I
could get involved with literally hundreds of fields. I wanted a career that would allow me to grow,
public relations fosters that growth, without any hindrances.
As far as the scholarship, I am your girl. As
an out of state student that came to UGA for Grady, I know the education I am receiving
here is completely unparalleled by any other university. I also have a raw enthusiasm for my future in
the public relations field and endless excitement for the places that my major
can take me.
